While the first thread focused more on the rules of posting, this thread is focused more on the rules of the game, and how things work.

Every zone in Casus is made up of interconnected "Areas" and "Routes", the Industrial Zone being the only exception. Routes lead from one area to another, and contain Pokemon, other trainers, items, events, all kinds of things! Areas are places like Cities, Towns, Buildings that may or may not be inhabited by wild Pokemon, and are more event based. Once you receive HM Fly and teach it to a flying Pokemon big enough to carry you, you can travel anywhere on the map. You might even discover some locations that aren't marked on the map...
*The Industrial Zone is all areas connected by light rail, as such characters may just take the light rail from place to place

Process
Each route and area have their own board, upon entering that board, if it is your first time having a character in that route or area you should read the info post stickied to the board before anything else. The info post will give you a basic intro to the area, the types of Pokemon you can find in it, the weather patterns, descriptions, etc.
Remember, the GMs are only here to provide encounters and further the overall world plot. When you enter the route/area, it's entirely up to you what the weather is like(as long as it's realistic, no torrential downpour in the Desert Zone, unless a mod states otherwise), the time of day, etc. We want to encourage you to WRITE, not react, you drive your character's story, we're just here to help it along.
Once you enter a new route or an area you should make an introductory post, this should be your character reacting to the area, interacting with their Pokemon, furthering your characters plot, whatever you want. A GM will roll an encounter for you after you finish your intro post. The encounter may be a Pokemon, trainer battle, or something as simple as finding an item(note that smaller events like finding an item will come coupled with a bigger event, this way we don't wind up with response posts such as "John put the potion is his backpack and carried on."). If you plan to make more posts after your intro post, to further develop your character or personal plot, include a <wait> at the end of your posts, until you have made all the posts you would like. Keep in mind when role-playing unmodded like this, you MAY spawn wild Pokemon native to the area to interact with, but you may not battle or catch them, or receive any tangible gain from them(items, etc.)
Once a mod has entered your thread and initiated an encounter, you will post back and forth until the encounter is resolved. If you are on a route, once a mod has deemed you have done enough in the thread you will be notified that you may leave the route and proceed on to your next destination. Depending on the length of the route the number of encounters this requires may vary. Routes that your character has traveled through before will usually only take one encounter before you may pass through. Areas may be left at any time, provided your character is not currently engaged(IE. Don't leave in the middle of a gym battle.)
With the exception of the use of Fly, or most of the Industrial Zone once your character leaves a route or area, that character's next thread should be in an adjacent route and the end of the current thread should mention where your character is headed.
