What is Role-Playing?
Ha, well, explaining the ins and outs of Role-Playing is a bit out of the depth of a short paragraph, but essentially is a collaborative story told between players(you) and GMs(just me, for now.) via writing. As such, if you don't like writing, this isn't for you. There are plenty of in-depth guides and such online for role-playing, and I or other members would be happy to help you if you're new to this whole thing and have questions.
Now on to the actual rules for this site! Note that these are general style and role-playing rules, and don't have anything specifically to do with the game, that's the thread after this.
No powerposting/godmodding
This isn't that hard, you have control of your character, and your Pokemon, and any NPCs that you make, and that's it. This means don't control what GM created NPCs or their Pokemon do, when faced with a puzzle your solution should not automatically work. In a battle, your attack should not automatically hit. If you are deemed to be god-modding you may be penalized experience, and usually the OPPOSITE result of what you intended will happen.
Speaking of NPCs
Player created NPCs are ok! You can create characters in towns and along routes to interact with your character, provided a few things:
- They are not a permanent fixture
- They should not physically help your character in any way.

Post Length
Generally quality over quantity is prefered, but in writing most of the time you can't have quality without quantity. 100 words per post is enforced, 50 during conversations. This may seem difficult during battles or conversations, but is easily reached by explaining how your character is reacting to what is happening, or what has been said. If you're having trouble feel free to pm a mod or admin and ask for help. A hundred words may seem like a lot in certain cases, but it's a lot easier than it sounds, for example, this paragrapah has been one hundred words.
Graphic Content
Violence, gore, and dark themes are allowed in your writing, and the mods will generally try to keep up at your pace. There will be a section in your character application if you'd like to avoid that stuff, so be sure to fill that out so the mod knows, otherwise certain areas may get ... darker than you're comfortable with.
Don't complain
As this is a GM'd roleplay, sometimes things won't go the way you want. The staff uses fair and precise calculations, and sometimes things will go your way, and sometimes they won't, don't complain. No one is successful in everything they do.
